In a small home filled with dreams and daily struggles lives Maria, a bright Primary Three student at Jubilee Care Nursery and Primary School. She is a cheerful and intelligent girl with big aspirations. Maria dreams of becoming a doctor one day so that she can help sick people in her community and give hope to families who cannot afford proper medical care.

Maria lives with both her parents, who are low-income earners. They work very hard, but their earnings are not enough to cover her school fees, scholastic materials, proper clothing, and medical care. Because of these financial challenges, Maria often stays home when school dues are not cleared. Sometimes she reports late to class, misses important exams, or returns home without a report card due to outstanding balances. These experiences are discouraging for such a talented and hardworking girl.

Despite the difficulties, Maria remains hopeful. She loves learning and always tries her best whenever she is in school. However, she needs support to fully focus on her education without the constant worry of fees and supplies.

Through the project “A Success Kit for Maria,” Aine Shantal Gift believes that providing school fees assistance and essential scholastic materials can transform Maria’s future. With the right support, Maria will attend school regularly, participate in all activities, and continue working toward her dream.
