Nabukenya Alma’s project focuses on supporting vulnerable families within the community by highlighting the struggles they face and mobilizing support to improve their living conditions. One of the families Alma seeks to support is that of Nakubuuka, a hardworking yet struggling single mother.

Nakubuuka is the sole provider for a large family of eight children. Four of the children are her own, while the other four are her late sister’s children whom she took in after her sister passed away. Despite the heavy responsibility, Nakubuuka chose love and family over abandoning the children, committing herself to raising them all under one roof.

Life, however, has been extremely challenging for her. Nakubuuka does not have a stable source of income. To survive and provide for the children, she moves from one home to another offering help with household chores such as cleaning, washing clothes, and other domestic tasks. The little money she earns from these occasional jobs is often not enough to meet the basic needs of the family, including food, school requirements, clothing, and healthcare.

The children live with many limitations, but their hope remains strong. With the support of Nabukenya Alma’s project, this family can receive essential assistance such as food supplies, basic school materials, and other necessities that will help ease their daily struggles.

Through this initiative, Alma hopes to inspire kindness and encourage well-wishers to support families like Nakubuuka’s. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in their lives and give these children a chance for a better and brighter future.
