About this Campaign
Nabankema Chloe Leticia was a bright and determined schoolgirl who believed that education could change lives. However, as she grew older, she noticed a painful reality among many girls in her community. Every month, some of her classmates quietly stayed away from school. Others struggled through the day feeling uncomfortable and ashamed. Many of them lacked basic information about menstruation, access to hygienic products, and supportive environments to help them manage their periods with dignity.
For girls from less privileged families, menstruation was not just a natural process—it became a barrier to education. Some missed several days of school each term, which affected their academic performance. Others felt embarrassed and developed low self-esteem. Sadly, a few eventually dropped out of school completely.
Chloe could not ignore what she saw. She believed that something had to change. Inspired by compassion and determination, she started a project called “Educate to Elevate.” Her mission was to educate girls about menstrual health and hygiene so they could understand their bodies and manage menstruation confidently.
Through awareness sessions, open discussions, and guidance from teachers and health workers, Chloe encouraged girls to ask questions without fear. She also promoted the importance of hygienic menstrual products and supportive school environments.
Chloe’s message was simple but powerful: menstruation is not a disease, and it should never stop a girl from learning. With the right knowledge, support, and confidence, girls can continue to attend school, perform well academically, and believe in themselves.
