About this Campaign
n Kinawataka, a community where dreams flicker like distant stars, many young girls carry responsibilities far beyond their years. Some live with single mothers struggling to survive, while others depend on elderly grandparents for shelter and daily support. Life in the slum areas is challenging, and opportunities are limited.
Among them is Cecilia Kobusinge, a 15-year-old girl with big dreams but difficult realities. She lives in a cramped one-room house with her four brothers. Every day, she wakes up early and prepares for school, often going there on an empty stomach. There is never a guarantee of her next meal, and uncertainty has become part of her daily routine. Despite the hardships, Cecilia continues to smile bravely, hiding silent tears and holding onto hope.
Many children in Kinawataka come from different families, yet they share similar struggles. Their parents do not have stable jobs, making it hard to provide basic needs such as food, clothing, and school supplies. Education sometimes feels like a distant dream, overshadowed by poverty and survival.
This situation is more than just a need for aidβit is a call for brighter futures. These children are asking for support to ignite their potential and restore their confidence. Through initiatives like the Go Girl Support Project, they can receive educational assistance, basic necessities, and encouragement. With collective support, their dreams can be nurtured, their confidence strengthened, and their futures transformed with renewed hope.
