In many communities, young girls face challenges that silently affect their education and future. Some miss school days or even drop out because they lack basic necessities such as sanitary pads, hygiene items, and proper guidance on menstrual health. During their monthly periods, many girls feel uncomfortable, unprepared, and embarrassed, which lowers their confidence and affects their concentration in class.

This situation does not only impact their academic performance but also their overall wellbeing. When girls lack sanitary support, they may stay home from school, fall behind in lessons, and gradually lose motivation. Over time, repeated absenteeism can lead to school dropouts, limiting their dreams and opportunities for a better future.

As a young leader, I am passionate about addressing this challenge among vulnerable girls from low-income families. My goal is to provide sanitary towels and basic hygiene materials to ensure that no girl misses school because of her period. I also plan to offer menstrual health education to help girls understand their bodies, practice proper hygiene, and feel confident about themselves.

Through guidance, support, and awareness, we can build confidence in girls, reduce absenteeism, and decrease the rate of school dropouts. When we empower a girl child with education and sanitary support, we empower an entire community. Together, we can create a future where every girl learns with dignity, confidence, and hope
