About this Campaign
In the quiet community of Nakifuma County in Mukono District lives Twesiime Justine, a hardworking mother raising her six children with courage and determination. Life has not been easy for her family, but hope shines through the efforts of young leaders like Queen Nantongo Comfort Clarissa.
During her visits to Kyosimba Onanya Primary School, Clarissa discovered a painful reality affecting many girls. The school has about 70 girls who struggle every month during their menstrual periods because they cannot afford sanitary supplies. Many of them stay at home during these days, afraid of embarrassment and humiliation at school. Some gradually lose confidence, while others risk dropping out of school completely.
Moved by their situation, Clarissa chose to take action through the Go Girl Support Project. Her initiative focuses on improving menstrual hygiene among the girls by donating disposable sanitary pads and educating them about menstrual health. With proper support, these girls can attend school comfortably and confidently, knowing they are cared for and understood.
For families like that of Twesiime Justine, such support means hope for a brighter future. When girls are empowered with the basic necessities they need, they can focus on learning, dreaming, and building their lives without fear or shame.
This project is more than a donation—it is a step toward restoring dignity, boosting confidence, and keeping girls in school. By supporting this initiative, we can help these young girls uncover the greatness they carry within them and give them the opportunity to grow into strong, empowered women who will transform their communities.
