Nansubuga Moreen is a bright and hardworking 12-year-old girl whose determination to succeed in school shines despite the challenges she faces every day. Coming from a family that struggles to afford basic necessities, Moreen often walks to school without many of the items most students take for granted.

Without a proper school bag, she carries her books in her hands, carefully protecting them on her journey to and from school. She also attends classes without shoes, exposing her feet to rough roads and harsh weather. In addition, she lacks several essential scholastic materials that would help her learn comfortably and confidently. Yet through all these difficulties, Moreen remains committed to her education and dreams of building a better future.

This project, “Sharing a Smile with Nansubuga Moreen,” aims to support her by providing a Success Kit filled with the essential items she needs to thrive in school. The kit will include a durable school bag, shoes, notebooks, pens, mathematical sets, a school uniform, and other important scholastic materials that will help her focus on learning rather than worrying about what she lacks.

By supporting this initiative, we will not only meet Moreen’s immediate school needs but also restore her confidence and motivation. Education is a powerful tool that can transform lives, and with the right support, Moreen can continue to pursue her dreams without barriers.

The total budget required for this project is UGX 1,500,000, which will cover the purchase of all necessary items and ensure that Moreen is fully equipped for her school journey.
