About this Campaign
Twesiime Justine is a hardworking mother raising six children with love and determination. Despite many challenges, she continues to believe that education can transform the future of her family and other children in her community. Like many parents of children with disabilities, she understands the struggles they face when trying to access proper education and support.
Inspired by this reality, Queen Namboyera Pamela Patience launched a project to support the disabled students at Kamulasi Demonstration School. The project recognizes that children with disabilities have unique talents and abilities that can flourish when they are given the right opportunities, encouragement, and learning environment.
Many of these children face barriers such as limited mobility, lack of learning materials, and social exclusion. Through this initiative, the project aims to improve their academic performance, mobility, and social inclusion. Adaptive learning materials are provided to help them understand lessons better and participate fully in class activities.
In addition, the children are trained in practical skills that can empower them in the future and help them become independent individuals. Scholastic materials such as books, writing supplies, and learning aids are also distributed to ensure they have access to the resources they need to succeed in school.
For families like that of Twesiime Justine, this project brings hope. It reminds the community that disability is not inability. With the right support, children with disabilities can achieve their dreams, contribute to society, and live dignified, independent lives. Through compassion and action, equal opportunities can truly become a reality.
