CHARITY OUTREACH BY OUR LADY OF AFRICA–MUKONO QUEENS

The Our Lady of Africa–Mukono Queens, 2024/25 cohort, carried out a heartfelt charity outreach to Nkokonjeru Providence Home, a sanctuary that provides care and support to individuals living with physical disabilities, mental disabilities, and other special needs. The visit was conducted under the Go Girl Support Project, an initiative aimed at empowering young women to lead with compassion, service, and community engagement.

During the outreach, the Mukono Queens shared love, encouragement, and material support with the residents of the home. They donated essential supplies—including food items, personal-care products, and household necessities—to help improve the daily living conditions of the beneficiaries. The team also spent time interacting with the residents, offering emotional support, listening to their stories, and engaging in simple activities that brought joy and connection.

This charity project not only uplifted the residents of Nkokonjeru Providence Home but also inspired the young women to embrace empathy, leadership, and social responsibility. Through the Go Girl Support Project, the cohort demonstrated that small acts of kindness can create meaningful change and strengthen the bond between young leaders and the communities they serve.

The Our Lady of Africa–Mukono Queens continue to shine as a beacon of hope, unity, and service—proving that empowered girls truly empower their communities.
